The "Tasting Workshops" series opens, for the first time, in the morning light and proposes a brunch format with specialty coffee and artisanal biscuits, in a space that has become a landmark for lovers of good coffee and cultural events: Negru Zi – coffee & arts.

☕ On Saturday, May 23, from 10:30, we will transform the Negru Zi amphitheater into a brunch space, with specialty coffee, artisanal biscuits, and good stories.

What we'll do at the workshop:

  • we will taste single-origin coffees, prepared using several methods, with explanations from Mihai Bulai (Negru Zi) on how the taste is built in the cup.

  • we will discover the artisanal biscuits from La Biscuiterie – clean recipes, natural ingredients, no additives, and, in their vegan range, no added sugar.

  • we will test "around the world" coffee & biscuit pairings – from fruity notes to chocolate and spices.

  • we will indulge, as it's a brunch, with delicious croissants and a glass of sparkling wine.

Everything in an interactive, amphitheater-style format:

  • 20 seats in the hall + seats on the stage

  • step-by-step tasting, with live explanations and open discussions

  • session for questions, impressions, and practical applications

The workshop is for those who want:

  • to understand why not all coffee varieties are the same and how to distinguish them in the cup

  • to discover how to pair coffee with artisanal biscuits

  • to hear the stories of a barista and an artisanal biscuit producer

The evening's hosts:

🍷 Vali Tătar – @The.Winefather, sommelier, educator, and creator of the "Tasting Workshops" series, with experience in culinary pairings and eno-gastronomic presentations

✨ Radana from @Iași.mănâncă, founder of the community, who for years has been bringing the gastronomic stories of the city and the people behind the dishes to the forefront

All in a relaxed atmosphere, with stories, simple explanations, and time for questions.

Poate pot fi folosite la final un mic chestionar de intrebari cu aspecte prezentate pe parcursul atielerelor ar fi mai engaging pentru public? In rest keep it up!!
